In 2014 TLMS is looking to increase its financial support to projects within its partner countries by at least 15%. This ambitious goal can only be reached by increasing donations. The Database Manager will play an integral role in providing the support services necessary to achieve this.
Founded in 1874, The Leprosy Mission is an international Christian development organisation. It works in around 30 countries in Africa, Asia and the Pacific, bringing healing & justice to people affected by leprosy. Its ultimate goal is to eradicate the causes and consequences of leprosy.
They work to educate the people of Scotland about what leprosy is, and perhaps more importantly what it isn’t, and how it affects the lives of those infected by it, as well as those around them. Until leprosy no longer stigmatises, marginalises and impoverishes, The Leprosy Mission Scotland will work to raise resources to enable people affected by leprosy to achieve justice. Their vision is to transform the lives of people affected by leprosy, resourcing care and cure, taking them from rejection to acceptance and from poverty to economic independence.
TLMS are looking for a Database Manager to join their team based in the centre of Stirling, a short walk from the train and bus station. The successful candidate will have experience in database management. You will be able to produce reports, segment data, track relationships and monitor donations. A love of data is essential as is an eye for detail and excellent interrogation skills.
The Database Manager will also play a key role in the financial management of the organisation including banking of receipts, drawing of cheques, paying invoices and preparing monthly accounts.
You will have a live Christian faith and be comfortable dialoguing with supporters from different denominations about our mission, campaigns and resources for individuals and churches. You will be the first point of contact for TLMS suppliers including their bank, CAF and database supplier.
This role is ideal for someone who loves databases and believes that nobody should be disadvantaged in any way just because they have leprosy.
