It’s all change for Jenny Kehoe as she swaps the pouring rain of Scotland for the mountains of Peru.
Jenny (23), from Carluke, has now left her hometown and joined nine other volunteers living and working in a shanty town on the outskirts of the capital Lima.

Organised by a number of charities including Christian Aid and Islamic Relief, the three year scheme will allow 2,500 people, aged between 18 and 25, the chance to volunteer in countries like Ghana, South Africa and India.
