The Salvation Army at a north-east town has taken a trip down memory lane to mark its 125th anniversary.
The unit at Peterhead has collected scores of newspaper cuttings and photos for a display at its Windmill Street hall. The exhibition charts the service’s growth in the town since its launch in 1882.
The anniversary celebrations began this weekend with a concert featuring the Longside Parish Church choir and soloist Andrew McCall.
The event drew crowds of local supporters and former Salvation Army soldiers. The Blue Toon group has also produced a CD of music and readings to commemorate the milestone.
