New lease of life for hall

In what will be its centenary year, the church building in Halladale is getting a new lease of life.

Work is about to start on refurbishing Halladale Mission Station to turn it into a resource for the whole community.

Myrtle Gillies, chairman of the management committee that is leading the work, said: “None of this would have been possible without the Church of Scotland agreeing to lease the building to us, and we’re extremely grateful to them for having the confidence in us being able to turn our plans into reality.”
