A sex pest pursued two under-age teenage girls through city streets and boasted of his sexual prowess.
Allan Watson was remanded in custody when he appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court over the incident.
The court heard how he had approached the girls, aged 14 and 15, outside McDonald’s in Castle Street, on the evening of October 6 this year.
Fiscal Fiona Murray told the court: "He then tried to kiss them. He reached out to one of the girl’s jacket and tried to unzip it, but she pushed him away.
"He walked away and returned about 10 minutes later with a bottle of Buckfast. He asked them to go for a drink with him in Inverness Castle gardens and said ‘You never know what might happen’."
