Friends of a Franciscan Friar who died in Zimbabwe have set up a fund to honour his memory and hard work.
Joe O’Toole, originally from Craigneuk in Airdrie was tragically killed in a car accident on October last year at the age of 51.
Seven of Joe’s school friends from their former school, St Patrick’s High, went for a coffee after his funeral and decided to raise cash for the Assisi Mission project in Zimbabwe, where Joe had helped and cared for youths.
