Church leaders were meeting First Minister Alex Salmond at the Scottish Parliament today.

Eleven church figures, including Kirk Moderator the Rev Bill Hewitt, Roman Catholic Bishop of Motherwell Joseph Devine and Episcopal Church Primus David Chillingworth, were due to attend.

Topics expected to be discussed included social inclusion and "end of life" issues.
The Church of Scotland has voiced concerns about regulations on assisted suicide in England and Wales.
